Black Needle Noise teams up with singer Beca for new single “UpSide Down”

 

John Fryer is an accomplished and busy guy. Fryer has been a producer for decades, working on a host of albums spanning genres, films, and interests. Fryer also has his own musical endeavors, including project Black Needle Noise. It’s this project that’s active today, as Black Needle Noise dropped new single “UpSide Down,” featuring LA-based singer Beca.

Like much of Fryer’s work “UpSide Down” is a dense, intense musical experience. Grim and brooding guitar riffs give the track a dark undertone, while the futuristic aura of the electronic trappings flesh out the track. Lest things get too dark, Beca’s voice is a light touch on “UpSide Down,” buoying the track up with the right amount of pop vocals. Mix everything together and you have something that’s wholly unique while showcasing Fryer and Beca’s biggest strengths. Give it a listen below:
