John Ferrara (Consider the Source)Seth Moutal Duo
Jul 6 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

The ‘John Ferrara + Seth Moutal Duo’ will be doing select shows to support their debut album release ‘Frail Things in Sharp Places.’ The album spans rock, jazz, progressive rock, minimalism , classical and world music and been impressing audiences with their live performances all over the northeast.
Spread the word! They are only doing a handful of shows in order to focus special attention on each one and give audiences the full experience of what they’ve been working on for the past year!

About:
John Ferrara (bassist for Consider the Source) had been working on solo material for quite some time but in doing so realized that some of the songs needed something more. His first thought was to contact an amazingly talented drummer and multi percussionist, Seth Moutal, to bounce ideas off of.

The music is a fusion of rock, jazz, world music, progressive rock, classical and minimalism. Between the two of them they manage a massive sound that ranges from slow, spacey songs to solo pieces to full force prog and jazz fusion epics. John plays bass and loops tapping and slap lines while playing lead over them often while playing homemade midi foot pedals with his feet. Seth plays drum set, tabla and hand drums and also mixes all three of them together at times.
