Jeff Tweedy has been deeply entrenched in the music scene for several decades now. He’s spent the majority of his career fronting the great American rock band Wilco. But he was part of Uncle Tupelo prior to starting Wilco, and he’s released several various side-projects over the years. Most recently was his first official solo record Together At Last, which came out last year. And now that we’ve spent most of 2018 sans Jeff Tweedy/Wilco news, it’s time to get some.
Just yesterday, Tweedy announced that his first book would be coming our way later this year. The book is titled Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back): A Memoir of Recording and Discording with Wilco, Etc, which tells you all you need to know really. Aside from getting firsthand words about what it was like to make classic records likeYankee Hotel Foxtrot and A Ghost Is Born, the book also looks to explore Tweedy’s personal life in some detail.
Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back) releases November 13. Pre-order it here.
Jeff Tweedy also has a handful of Fall solo dates coming up. Check out all the information for that over here.
