Jenny Lewis quietly popped up on social media today to announce a brand new album is on the way. The new work, her fourth overall as a solo artist, will be titled On The Line. It’s currently slated for a Spring 2019 release from Warner Bros. Records. Lewis hasn’t released a new solo album since 2014’s The Voyager (though she did form a side-project band called Nice As Fuck back in 2016). And this time out, Lewis appears to be going all-out as it’ll feature a host of guest musicians from the likes of Beck, Ryan Adams, and even Ringo Starr.
One The Line does not have an official release date or tracklist just yet. But Jenny Lewis has already started to plan out her 2019 with the announcement of a slew of tour dates across the US. The tour kicks off in March and continues through May. So although details are scant on the new album, we can likely expect it’ll arrive at some point in those three months.
