Send Request reveal video for heavy “Antisocial War”

With their latest single and its visualizer, Nanticoke, Pennsylvania’s Send Request resurrect early-aughts punk rock–the chorus carries major MCR vibes–and position themselves as a band to watch. By an interesting artistic choice, no two members appear in the same shot–each in their own corner, a la “The Blair Witch Project,” each with unique lighting tones. All mise en scène elements collide for a clip that’s equally as unsettling as it is angsty. And appropriately so.

“This is, emotionally, one of the heaviest songs on the [forthcoming] album,” said vocalist Andrew Blank. “It’s about someone who considered killing me before they actually took their own life. It mentally scarred me and I still can’t wrap my head around it.”

Send Request will release their sophomore album Perspectives Friday on SharpTone Records. Pre-order the album here.
