A winter throwdown at The Milestone Club

Published

on

Last Saturday evening, Charlotte, NC metal noise natives Never I packed The Milestone Club with a sold-out show.  Performances by Arborlea, East Viridian, Brigades, and Reflect//Refine lead up to Never I tearing down the house breakdown after breakdown.

Guest features from several active members of the Charlotte metal scene showed out in support and camaraderie. Features include but are not limited to, Colby Richardson (bassist for Reflect//Refine), Michael Horai (vocalist for Arborlea), Ian Powell, and Raine Orris, including a very special shout out to Corey Parker for surprising everyone with his opening acoustic session of The Lamplight Gospel EP.

The start of 2019 has been rather busy for Never I as they gear up for the release of a new song to be accompanied by an impressive music video later this year-the exact release is yet to be determined.  Never I is stoked to be returning to the road this year during several weekenders saying, “We will be hitting this year hard”.  Never I is a constant reminder that inclusivity, familial bonds, and love triumph every day over our own needs, over our own sadnesses, and over our weaknesses.  Saturday evening exemplifies their impact on the Charlotte metal community, their supporters, their fellow musicians, and those looking for a home.  Come home and take a walk through the evening as we roll through live footage from each performing artist. We hope you’ll join us next time.
