Wilco are set to release remastered, deluxe versions of their first two albums, A.M. and Being There on December 1. Both sets of new editions contain unreleased tracks, live songs, demos, and alternate versions of album tracks. Now the band have shared an old song from the A.M. sessions that was never before released.
“Myrna Lee,” written and sung by Wilco multi-instrumentalist John Stirratt, showcases that early alt-country sound that the band were known for. Although this original Wilco-performed version was never released, the song was later released on a 1997 album (titled Home Grown) from Stirratt’s twin sister’s band Blue Mountain.
