Last week the Yeah Yeah Yeahs announced that their classic debut album Fever To Tell would finally be getting reissued on vinyl later this month. The album has long been out of print on vinyl, so it’s about time this thing got the reissue treatment it deserves. The big, deluxe version, which costs a whopping $195, contains a bunch of extras including a new documentary called There Is No Modern Romance. The film is a 26-minute unreleased tour documentary, following the band as they travelled the UK in 2003. They’ve now shared the trailer for this film, which you can watch below:
As of right now it seems the only way to see this documentary is to buy the deluxe version, but unfortunately it looks like they’ve sold out. The deluxe version also includes nine unreleased demos, eight b-side/rarities, five newspaper lyric posters, a 164-page hardbound photo book, an iron-on patch, a sticker, a photo card, and an 8GB USB stick, which includes the documentary as well as live performances, fan films, and music videos. There is also a standard vinyl reissue, which contains the original album remastered plus five newspaper lyric posters.
You can pre-order it now here.
